ODILON ALMEIDA

Odilon Almeida Junior is an experienced global leader with a strong record of value creation in the financial, fintech, technology, and consumer goods sectors. Over his 40+ year career, he has set strategy and led growth acceleration through organic expansion, as well as the acquisition and integration of new businesses.
He has consistently driven successful, short- and medium-term turnarounds to restore growth while improving operating discipline across markets in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. He has proven expertise in leading digital transformation and growing digital revenues for global corporations.

Currently, he is the Managing Principal of AJ. Holdings Co, where he partners with enterprises for value creation through board participation, private equity advisory, or direct investment.
He is an Operating Partner at Advent International and, a Board Member of NCR Atleos (NYSE:NATL), BV (Votorantim Bank) and Viscaya Museum and Gardens. He is the former President, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW) and, for the past eight years, Odilon was a Board Member of Milicom International (NASDAQ:TIGO) and chairman of its Compliance and Risk Committee. From 2002 to 2019, Odilon advanced through increasingly significant general management and operating roles at Western Union (NYSE:WU), the global leader in cross-border money movement. His last position was President, Western Union Global Money Transfer, where he headed WU’s $5B consumer business in 200+ countries and territories plus its digital offering in 90+ countries.

Odilon earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and his Bachelors in Civil Engineering in Sao Paulo, Brazil and, extended his education at Harvard Business School, The Wharton School and the International Institute of Management.

JUAN CARLOS ECHEVERRY

Juan Carlos Echeverry is one of Latin America’s most distinguished economists and policymakers.
He currently serves as President of Banco de Bogotá, Co-President of the Mexican private equity fund AINDA and is a Member of the Board of Directors of Credicorp Capital in Lima, Peru.

Previously, Juan Carlos was the Executive Director of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) in Washington DC. He also held the position of Colombia’s Finance Minister from 2010 to 2012, where he was honored as Latin America Finance Minister of the Year by several publications. His earlier roles include Minister of Economic Planning from 2000 to 2002.

Juan Carlos was the CEO of Ecopetrol, Colombia’s largest corporation, and served as Dean of Economics at Universidad de Los Andes. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University.

A noted speaker on Latin American issues, Juan Carlos has been invited to share his insights at prominent events, including HSBC in Davos (2010), The Economist in London (2011), J.P. Morgan in Key Largo (2012), and The Financial Times in New York (2013).

Craig Morrison is a retired senior executive whose last assignment was as the Chairman and CEO of Hexion Inc., a multi-billion-dollar global company.
Prior to working at Hexion he held general management positions at Alcan, Paxar Inc. and Van Leer Packaging. He received his MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School and his BS from Eastern Kentucky University. After graduating from college, Craig spent eight years in the Marine Corps as a Captain, fighter pilot and Operations Officer of a squadron. Upon graduating from HBS he served as a consultant at Bain & Co. based in Boston.

Geraldo Thomaz is a global business leader with considerable experience in the technology industry. He currently serves as the founder and co-CEO of VTEX, a multi-million-dollar global company that provides a software-as-a-service digital commerce platform for enterprise brands and retailers.
Under Geraldo’s and his partner, Mariano’s leadership, the VTEX platform has evolved rapidly, providing the infrastructure for global commerce to more than 2,600 companies across 38 countries. In 2021, they led the company to a successful initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: VTEX).

Since 2021, Geraldo has also served as a board member for Instituto Reditus, a non-profit organization in Brazil.

Geraldo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Dr. Gregory C. Unruh, Ph.D., is the Arison Professor of Values Leadership at George Mason University and an expert on sustainable business strategy. He also serves as the Sustainability Editor for the leading business journal, the MIT Sloan Management Review. An outspoken advocate of environmental sustainability and climate responsibility,
Dr. Unruh has served as a technical reviewer for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the group that shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with former US President Al Gore. He is the originator of Carbon Lock-in theory, a line of academic investigation that has received thousands of citations and spurred new lines of climate policy research around the globe.

Dr. Unruh has been recognized as a strategic partner of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC); an initiative dedicated to implementing socially and environmentally responsible business practices globally. As part of his UNGC commitments, Dr. Unruh contributed to the Principles of Responsible Business Education, which he presented to UN Secretary General Bon Ki Moon at the Palais de Nations in Geneva.
Author of numerous best-selling leadership books, Dr. Unruh co-founded the Center for Eco-Intelligent Management with the renowned “green” designer William McDonough and has published his research findings in the Harvard Business Review, the Huffington Post and Forbes Magazine. He regularly speaks at major international conferences including the World Economic Forum, the UN Global Compact, the Clinton Global Initiative, Sustainable Brands and the Milken International Conferences.
