Sales Operations Coordinator

In the role of Sales Operations Coordinator, you will work directly with our Sales Manager to learn how to use key sales tools and gain hands-on opportunities to learn about building leads, qualifying customers, and closing deals, in a way that will leave you incredibly prepared for a senior sales team role. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with our Operations Manager to learn how to analyze and present sales and customer data in a way that improves sales team performance and drives sales growth.

What You'll Learn
  • The steps of the sales cycle (including tips from our team of experts on mastering each one)
  • How to build a targeted prospect list from scratch
  • Cold calling techniques that will help you connect with and pitch the right people at each prospective customer
  • How to use PipelineDeals, HubSpot, and other leading sales and marketing software programs, to help make your process more efficient and effective
  • Project management tips and tools, as you support our Sales Manager in managing sales projects and keeping them on track
  • How to analyze company sales trends and interpret key sales metrics
  • Design and create graphs and visual displays of sales data using MS Excel
  • Support the sales team by researching and qualifying incoming leads
  • Support pipelining efforts by creating prospect lists to be used by the sales team
  • Find ways to ensure our sales team is getting the most value out of our current Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software – including creating new reports and looking at new ways to leverage the software’s functionality
  • Support the Sales Manager in managing various projects and keeping them on track
  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries and emails on a real time basis
  • Manage sales activities such as account sales, lead generation and CRM database management
  • Assist sales team with other administrative tasks as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in in Business, Marketing, Sales or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Experience in sales, marketing or customer service preferred (although not required)
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal as well as excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a desire to learn and grow
  • A creative thinker and someone who can bring continuous development of strategies to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the business in order to drive growth
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
